CS 1713 Introduction to Computer Science:
Instructions for Signing In During Lectures

• Make sure you have the Y: drive mounted.
  If not, instruction are here.
• Open 2 explorer windows, one in the root of Y: and the other in your Z:\working\java directory.
• Copy the file signin from Y: to Z:\working\java.
• In Z:\working\java, create a shortcut and move it to the desktop.
• Create a text file in Z:\working\java called myname.txt containing your login name and nothing else. In most cases your login name is you first initial followed by your last name up to a maximum of 8 characters.
• Each time you come to class, double click on the signin icon on your desktop and click OK.
