• Process termination and exit status

• Try the following:
  • Do a man -a ps to find out the command line options for ps. Execute ps using different options to see the processes and their respective states.
  • Do a man -a proc to find out about the proc filesystem and the tools that access it.
  • Do ls -l /proc to see the processes that are running current on the system.
  • Use some of the proc tools such as pmap on some process that belows to you.
